.22LR Ammo & Conversion Kits

New for this year from CCI is a .22LR load designed specifically for MSR-style rifles now being offered in .22LR chambering. The CCI engineers did extensive testing and discovered that the rifles performed best with a 40-grain plated bullet at 1,200 fps. The new CCI .22LR Tactical load clocks 1,200 fps and features a target grade bullet with a copper-plated nose for smooth feeding.

Why am I excited about this new product? It will work perfect with my Tactical Solutions AR-15 .22LR Upper. I don’t want to sound like a commercial but I believe in the Tactical Solutions products. Currently I have a Tactical Solutions Trail-Lite barrel for my wife’s Browning Buck Mark and could not resist trying the conversion kit. With the cost of ammo these days this will allow me to train at a fraction of the cost with the lower I am already familiar with. I’m also highly anticipating the arrival of my Glock .22LR conversion kit.

We’ve been using this as our preferred ammo in our Browning Buck Mark for years. As soon as I get my hands on the .22LR ammunition I will see if I can back up the manufacturers claim of “excellent accuracy - 1.5 inches at 100 yards for 10-shot groups in factory testing.”

Let’s see if both of these products get a bulls eye on the target.
